What You Want to Know Before
Donating
Membership in the Chris Craft
Commander Club is free of
charge, and always was. It is
part of what made this club
successful and still healthy
after more than 10 years. For
practical reasons the club is
operated by a small not for
profit company, Chris Craft
Commander Club Inc.
How is the Club financed?
The CCCC
operates thanks to the
voluntary, unpaid work of the
Executive Committee, along
with time and financial
contributions from members.
The club's
Dock Shop remains very
popular for the club items it
carries, while bringing
additional resources to the
organization's financial health.
One of the most revered items in
our Dock Shop is the club's "SuperDisk"
(a continually updated resource
disk EVERY Commander owner
should have!).
Our annual
and very popular Rendezvous' are
financed by the participants,
each paying for actual costs of
meals, entertainment, etc.
Generous corporate
contributions, along with
donations from members, help to
generate additional club funds
through raffles and auctions at
these events. These funds enable
us to continue our mission, and
to improve and enhance our
organization.
On
occasion, members will ask how
they can make a monetary
contribution to the club. To
make this process simple and
easy, we have created this web
page in coordination with our
club's PayPal system.
How is the money used?
Our organization is
incorporated, but remains
committed to its "not for
profit" status. Your
contribution will be used
strictly to promote and improve
the organization through our web
presence, periodicals, mailings
and other promotional items.
