Specification

Some of you have been following my progress with this old girl and here's an update. She is for sale but I'm having fun with her. If I sell her, it will be to buy a bigger Commander. Meanwhile, here she is if anyone's interested.

What works: 2 Detroit Diesel 8V53 engines with ~1200 hours, (last run in June 2008, when we moved her to her new slip). Kohler 10kw genset, electric toilet, all interior 32vdc system and Sentry 32vdc charger, 120vac system.

What work has been completed since Nov 2006: The engines only needed new injector lines. Four new 8vdc batteries for start/house. Bilge cleaned and painted. All new polybutelene water lines and manifolds. New water heater. One fuel tank and all new USCG Type A-1 fuel lines and two-stage spin on filters. Insulation in ceilings and most walls. Mini-blinds in the saloon. New headliner in master stateroom. Second hanging locker installed in master. All rooms painted and new tile floors throughout. New 32vdc/12vdc/120vac electrical panels. New 12vdc system with 2 Trojan T105 deep cycle batteries. New 12vdc bilge pump and 100vac emergency sump pump. Additional 30 amp service.Galley refreshed and new lighting and paint. Many, many minor things that take time and cost money.

Work planned for this fall: Install additional fuel tanks. Re-deck the cockpit. Install 2 Espar diesel heaters. Complete headliner in saloon. Install holding tank. Have the injector racks adjusted.Take a 2-week cruise.

Work planned for the winter: Insulate the deckhouse and install new headliner. Test the A/C's for operation and repair as necessary. Install second toilet.

Work planned for Spring 2009. Mostly cosmetic. Brightwork and upholstery

Extensive Nov 2006 survey available upon request and contact info of the captain who brought her down here from New Jersey.
