Guidelines for Advertising in the For Sale Section at Commanderclub.com

The For Sale Section at Commanderclub.com is intended for owners of fiberglass Chris Craft Commanders wishing to sell their vessel privately. The section is not intended for brokers or other commercial entities. Ads for other Chris Craft models, or for spare parts & accessories, are not accepted.

The accuracy of any information contained in the ads is the sole responsibility of the owner/seller of the boat. No claims whatsoever can be made towards the Chris Craft Commander Club or any of it's officials. It is strongly recommended that a prospective buyer consult a reputable marine surveyor before closing a deal with the seller.

Commanderclub.com accepts up to four photos to illustrate the ad. If you have more photos, the ad can contain a link to any photo sharing website, for example Kodak, Flikr or Shutter Fly.

The Chris Craft Commander Club is a not-for-profit organization. Our main objective with the For Sale Section is to provide means for present and potential new Commander enthusiasts  to find the boat of their dreams. Therefore, advertising at Commanderclub.com is totally and unconditionally free of charge. However,  should a seller - after selling his/her boat - feel that the ad at Commanderclub.com contributed to the sale in any way, a small gratuity fee paid to the club will be highly appreciated.

New ads and updates will usually be posted within a week. Ads will be kept online for up to 6 months. Obviously, the seller can request that an ad is withdrawn at any time. As an ad approaches the deadline, the seller will be reminded to make substantial changes to the price, text information or photos in order to increase the attractiveness of the offered vessel. We want to avoid having many "dead" (unchanged) ads posted on the site for longer periods than 6 months. Therefore old (> 6 months), unchanged, ads will be removed.
