Boat is in nice shape,  refurbished 3 years ago with a 5.7L Mercruiser, Garmin Charplotter, new canvas, & upholstery. Currently in a slip at Cedar Island Marina in Clinton, CT.  Asking $8950

I purchased another boat and the boat is not being used.

nice to know that a 5.7 merc will fit in a 27. how does it do for speed and efficiency?

burns 4.5 gallons per hour at 2500 rpm cruising speed (20-22 mph)

Tops out at 30 mph, 3500 rpms

that's impressive.  I ran my boat about 35 nm on Saturday, mostly at about 20 knots but a brief stint at wide open, 25 knots. The trip a used just over a half tank, or about 25 gallons. Which is better than with my old prop, that would have used almost a full tank for 35 miles. But instead of a new motor, I think I'll just put in more tankage. And reinstall trim tabs that someone probably took off.

Bill, it should top 4K if properly pitched, and tuned.

4k or 4400 even. my crusaders run to 4400 at wot...
