Hello. Recent health issues have got me to the point where I can no longer take care of my beloved Commander. If anyone in the Lake St. Clair area is interested in acquiring a project boat, please contact me. She is a 1967 31 ft Commander with 327F engines. I have owned this boat since 1997. The price is negotiable to any interested party.

Is it currently running? Why do you label it 'project boat'?

It is currently on the hard. It was running before it was put up for storage. Labeled as a project because it needs the interior redone. Upholstery, cushions, stain, varnish, etc. The engines need distributors, or at least work done on them. If I were keeping the boat, I would be looking to repower.

Any chance you can post some cabin photos?

I can but it might take a day or two. The headliner is not there but I have enough NOS material to replace it. Original fridge, stove, and turquoise vanity.

Thanks. I'm interested, but I'd have to buy a trailer ($7k) to bring the boat here to NH. Obviously if you can find someone local to take it, that would probably be better for you. Are new distributors for the 327F available?  I'm a Q owner so I don't keep up on the F models.

After market distributors are available, but they don't have the cable drive for the mechanical tachs. Either the originals would need to be rebuilt or the tachs converted to electronics.

My name is Troy. I am traveling to lake st . claire soon. do you have a phone number? also ...where specifically is the boat located ?
