1968 47' commander with original factory flybridge, original GM diesels & generator. Always fresh water.

The day has come that I have dreaded might some day come and finally is reality. My doctor has found that dreaded "C"  in my body and I am very limited to what I can do. Long story short, I should sell my most coveted posession as I can no longer do the things necessary. The boat is almost entirely original with the only time in salt water was the short delivery time to the purchasing dealer in New Jersey, and then to the great lakes. One of the most outstanding and obvious things is the original anodized aluminum framed windshield is all original and in pristine condition which tells the rest of the story of the boat.  I have most of the original papers to substantiate this along with a host of original manuals for just about everything. My wife and I purchased this boat in 2005 and have some wonderful memories on board. The Detroit's have about 1700 original hours on them and purr like a detroit should. The diesel gen. I believe is a Kohler and origional. I have replaced all of the batteries recently along with the ship to shore radio and antenna. It also has ratheon radar. I have not used it in awhile but the last storm we got into on the TN river it performed flawlessly. I am asking $115,000. and will consider a reasonable offer. The boat is and always has been in covered marina storage. If you would like additional info. please either email me, rutclark@yahoo.com or call my cell 828 506 2140 and ask for russ.

I am also on Watts Bar. I stopped and looked at the boat from the dock. It used to be at the same marina as my Catalina 280. It’s a very nice boat, all cleaned up.
