I just wanted to share this big job for one to let people know it's possible! and partly to journal it for ourselves   makes it much more to appreciate what you have when you can see where you have been!   Its fun for us, passion for my husband saving these old Commanders and CC in general..  We love also teaching our kids that you dont have to have the newest thing,  Work on something, love it, save it and you can also make a little money having some skills

Hyraulic steering ... check!
Posted by Brian and Dawn Stone on August 6, 2017 at 9:52pm
Well the rehab is going well. We actually unwelded from the dock today for a trial run on the new steering we finished bleeding yesterday. Brian had it installed before and found it wasn't going to work in his original spot so had to move it, reweld it, rebleed it( oh boy I learned lots!)and now -done. Wing doors are in , various hardware, bridge station in , windows, guages ( except tachs- need longer transducer), new fridge, a/c' s coming ceilings are progressing,. Took time out today for a fun run to the Detroit Light house with friends. I need to post a bizillion pics!
