Two separate questions:

I'm considering upgrading to Racor fuel/water separators. Do people recommend this / what model have people liked.

I'm getting a slow drip out of my cartridge oil filters since I changed the oil in the winter. I tried a new gasket and it didn't solve the problem. Could I not be cranking the top bolt enough? Any other thoughts? Is it recommended to switch to the spin on filters?

Thanks for the help!

It’s surprising to me that your boat didn’t come with Racors, mine were factory.

I removed my Racor 900's and went with a Seaboard Marine Double Double setup for multi-stage filtering and squeeze bulb priming.  Here's some pics and some reading..  Was a space saver too.
