Hi All

I have a 1969, 38' Commander Sedan. I knew that my chrome Commander size nameplates on both P/S sides were faded, but the metal seems warn also. I am considering replacing them. I saw a post a while back about removal of them but cant seem to find it. How do they come off? Are the sticker, or screw/bolted on? Just curios. Thanks. The bow badge seems in good enough shape that I can repaint it next spring and maybe re-chrome it down the line. I know they are hard to find.

Thanks!

Hi my dear,
Can you tell me where the nameplates were in origin…? Since I bought them from Chrisparts but I can’t find any information about their original position …
Thanks

Hi I think this is what you are asking about? This conversation was from 2015 so I think I was talking about the plate with the size on it. 38 in my case. Attached is a picture of where I have always seen them. Forward of the Chris Craft words under the sedan windows. Hope this helps you. Doug
