Those mght have come out of a 1967 boat, but those are 1980's Crusaders, the same as I have. They didn't start making the 454 til 1970. So far i've been impressed with the quality on my Crusaders, though they are not as easily servicable as my Chris Craft engines have been. They definately did what they could to make them a compact package.

can u send me more info. ?rebuilt/where/when/hours/why removed,--thanks-Al

Raw water cooled.

That's pretty typical up here in sweet water land ;) Will last forever in fresh water.

They do look nice but depending on where they will be used converting to fresh water cooling would be highly advised.

Can you post pictures of the identification plates? Should be at the top of the bellhousing.

Where are these located?

Would you be able to load them? Shipping possible?

I guess you have to phone the guy for more info.  Area code is Detroit.

"all original, well maintained and unmolested" would indicate they have not ever been apart yet.  Not sure how to evaluate them for hours.  They have clearly been recently painted.

Are these engines still for sale ??

Get oil analysis and compression readings. The oil reports are 35.00 or so each and well worth the price to evaluate internals without disassembly.
