Help Wanted!!! New Faces New Perspectives - EC Openings beginning in January, 2018

New Faces New Perspectives Wanted:  EC Openings beginning in January, 2018

Would you like to be more active in the Commander Club?  Would you like to help chart our course?  Are you willing to commit the time, energy and creativity needed to assist us in promoting and supporting our mission?

We are searching for new faces and new perspectives.  There will be two positions open on the Executive Committee – Treasurer and Public Relations Chair – beginning in January 2018.

 Public Relations Chair:

If you would like to help us prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences and help promote the club with the media and the boating community the PR Chair may be right for you.  We have 2 electronic newsletters per year - “Styled in Fiberglass” and at least one broadcast message to members per month.  Members submit great articles.

Are you personable, outgoing, articulate and enthusiastic about Commanders?  Do you have sufficient and working knowledge of word processing programs?  And the best part – you don’t have to hound folks for dues!!!

Treasurer

If you are good with numbers, have a great eye for detail, and comfortable balancing a checkbook the Treasurer job may be right for you.  We have a checkbook and a PayPal account.  All records and accounts are current.

The Executive Committee convenes monthly via conference call.  Meetings typically last 90 minutes or less.  Most work done via e-mail.  Each job has its own time commitment depending on club activities.  Current EC members will mentor you.

Interesting in either of these positions?
