Ok So I know my port engine is a Mallory YH Distributor. So I got the part number and ordered up (Mallory Rotor 319). It looks totally different than what was in their previously. But the old one looks just like an aftermarket morosso one I found online. It fits though and the clearances are good.

the rotor to the right is off my other engine.

Now the other question is I looked and the new one wont fit on the other engine. The shaft part is different and its a totally different height.

Here is a pic of how it mounts....Big difference.

I cannot for the life of me find a rotor online that will fit my other distributor. On the distributor the label says it is a Mallory YH...Anyone know where to get a rotor to fit that one?

Thanks,

   Steve

Captain Steve

The two red  rotors from Mallory are # 319  for the small diameter shaft & # 318 for the larger diameter shaft . The YH  style distributor has a better / smother advance design & probably uses the # 318 rotor.

Thanks Tim!!!

Any ideas about the black rotor to the far left? Mine has cracked and I'm having a heck of a time finding a replacement! Same deal Mallory YL 539 AV Starboard 327q.

Sierra makes a direct replacement for the rotor on the left. I'll have to dig and see if I can find the part number.

If you need q Distributer parts I have everything you need 6124143454
