Seeking Boat Electrical & Mechanical Expert near Dana Point

I have a 1975 30' Tournament Sportfisher in Dana Point Harbor that has some wiring issues and need someone who knows how to track down shorts and grounding issues. I have twin 350 GM gas engines and just bought all new batteries, charger, shutoff switches, etc.  A previous electrical guy who claimed to have years of experience with Chris Crafts did some re-wiring, but after that the batteries kept going dead, and he vaporized.  I've carefully labeled where each wire went, so that might help an expert figure out what's wrong. I've lost the entire summer trying to find someone competent enough to help. Can any of you recommend someone with these skills in south Orange County, San Diego or Inland Empire?
