Yup, I finally did it. Before picture:

After pictures (not done cutting yet, the rest will be done with sawzall):

The good news is that the original hull line is still there just above the exhaust tubes. So glad I did this; there was a lot of water in the cavities, and the wood on the port side is punky.

Mass Marine Parts in Quincy usually has a variety of both wood and glass.

Thanks, Nat. What they show online looks kinda pricey for the condition, but I may take a drive down. There's one in Maine on craigslist for $130 that looks decent.

Have not seen one but could probably make one out of Coosa board. They make one type that is ''coosa lite''or something like that. Absorbs no water and is pretty strong--I have a 21' chris craft scorpion lake boat I replaced the transom with the stuff years ago without any problems.BTW--great looking job! I know it must handle better !

Picked up a decent platform at Mass Marine yesterday. It needs some work, and brackets, but for $150 it's fine. They wanted $250.

they also have a 332 Commander waiting to be dismantled.

p.s. on my way home, I noticed Patient Lady is still sitting there, along with all the other derelict boats in that row.
