The Commander Curmudgeon tipped me to these and a cursory look will give the viewer a good reason to make the switch to this robust coupling.  

At least any viewer that has had a shaft spin in the coupling or a coupling break or a shaft come loose when backing down.  I remember someone losing a shaft and prop, back on the yahoo groups era?

Whats different with these compared to say Buck Algonquin Split Couplers?

Probably very little difference but my point was about the "normal" solid coupling that relys only on the set screws.
