Years ago... what year was it? I attended the very first meet in Portsmouth, VA as and enthusiastic owner of a 67 31' Commander. Circumstances now have us on Lake Keowee near Clemson, SC and I'd like to find the best 31 Commander out there. Does one exist? That said I might also consider the 31 sports fish, but it need to be restored.

Boat needs to be redone and ready to go Would like also for it to have been fresh water, and real wood interior, not the laminate.

I have seen the perfect 28ft on Yachtworld here http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1966/Chris-Craft-Commander-Sports-E... but it's out of price range. Incredible boat. I would consider something like this but not at 100K.

Also considering a 31 Hatteras Cruiser but these are even harder to find.

Thanks!

Oh, I can be reached at jdavidf1@gmail.com

I was looking around the site, and this boat is very appealing. Are these members still on here? Pat and Shelia Chaps?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j98flTa9Do8

This is the type of condition I am looking for.

Pat and Sheila are active members.

Thanks Tim! Wow has this group grown!! I was looking at members that are listed as owning some form of the 31 and it looks to be well over 300. Already found a neat boat in Ontario, rare configuration, and may put that in the mix. Sedan day boat with no flybridge.

Welcome back,

Tim

For the restoration that was done I bet they spent more than $100k. I think that boat is worth it.

For sure, best on one I've seen anywhere. Anyone here seen her in person?

Check this out.  I'll bet the Seller has $100k into this boat.  Nice engines and a deeper V than a 31.

I saw that and have asked for more pictures. Sure would be nice to have fresh water only, but this one has all the heavy lifting done, and well below what he has in it. Re power is very nice and it should run well.

Bump still looking.

Was just looking at the back issues of Styled in Fiberglass, and there are some incredible boats on here! If anyone knows of any members with one of these top knotch 31s for sale, please let me know.
