This site was very helpful with getting my fuel pump rebuilt and working great, so maybe someone knows about the water pump too!
Long story short, I shredded an impeller vane, stopped pumping water. I dug all the rubber bits out of the hoses and transmission cooler, then replaced the impeller. Still not sucking water up. I’m thinking the seal around the shaft is bad. I took the pump halfway apart before realizing there is very little info on this pump model. I found a replacement front seal for 15$ on ebay, but have no idea how to replace.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Are you sure the inlet is clear and airtight. If it is not sucking water, it will also shred impellers quickly. There are a lot of exploded parts diagrams and info on the Sherwood site.
