Nice way to go leaf "leaf peeping". Spent the 8th and 9th putting "Wanderer", and some other boats at our Club to bed for the winter. Not many photo opps. The high light was moving a 42 Silverton to its winter slip. One engine would not start, and he realized he had no steering after he backed out of his slip.

Nat did you have your camera ready for that photo op?  Heard a story of a guy that took his cameras, lawn recliner and cooler to the launch ramp every Memorial Day to watch the new boaters back in their boat show purchases.  I guess end of season may offer some opportunities as well.

All you have to do is google "how not to use launch ramp." Hours of entertainment, from amateurs and professionals.

When they got close enough to throw us lines we were to busy muscling this thing into it's birth to video. Fortunately there was only a light breeze, and the operator was very good.
