Draft / Weight: 36" / 13,271 - 13,890 lbs  Editors note:  These weights are from page 684 of CHRIS CRAFT THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE.  The 1971 factory specs list weight as 17,364.  Various members have weighed their Sports Cruisers and found them to be in the 18,000# range.

Comments:  Same hull as the 35' Commander but the superstructure with its flybridge, enclosed cockpit and differently styled cabin top leads to a very different interior.

Performance with 427s, 3 blade 22x26 props, and P44 Paragons at 2.5 to 1:

With 1/2 fuel and water:

Cruise speed of 17 knots at 3000 rpm; burning 21 gal/hr

Top speed of 25 knots at 4000 rpm
