Using Smartphone & Tablets

Back to Home Page Index

If you have a smartphone or a tablet you can easily use them to access this site.  The site is built using modern dynamic layout  and graphic support. This means that the site's content and functionality will adapt to the capability of your device.

You do NOT need to install an "app". Instead you will use your device's built in web browser.

This is how it works:

  1. Open the web browser in you smartphone or tablet.
  2. Type in this address commanderclub.ning.com/m Notice the "m" at the end. If you discard the "m" (for mobile) you will not get the mobile version of the site.
  3. Click on the Menu button to the right of the Commander Club headline to get a navigation menu which give you access to the most common functionality and popular content.

Uploading photos

Smartphones and tablets do not operate like computers when it comes to uploading photos. Please read this help document for more information.

Useful tips for using your smartphone or tablet

You can use the normal www.commanderclub.com address. However, the text and photos will be very small on smartphones because of the small screen size. As on any website you can zoom in to make the text larger.

Fees may apply from your phone service provider or mobile internet service provider. The Commander Club does not charge you anything for this service.

Because Apple does not support the graphic display standard referred to as Adobe Flash, the slideshow on the main page of the site will not be displayed. (This has got nothing to do with our site per se, but is the same on other sites using Flash).
