Remanufactured Carbs, or New?

I'm tired of fighting my Carter AFB, and now I'm having issues with my port side as well. I'm just going to buy a new set of Edelbrock 1409's with 8 degree wedges and be done with it. I'm wondering…Continue

Hello Christopher, you and I both own 1967 31' commanders. I bought ours back in 1995 and she was a mess. Duct tape and bailing wire got us back home many a day back then. My 12 year old son and I spent hundreds of hours together slowly fixing all her issues. New motors- wiring- plumbing- shafts- rudders. Repainted topside with interlux perfection 2 part paint. And now finnaly a windlass. So enjoy the journey as there will always be something that needs fixing ,but she has given our family decades of great memories. Be well, Jim
