This one came up local and he says it has Cat diesels. Could be a good liveaboard, but it doesn't match the model library. Can anyone chime in?…Continue

Hello Christopher, you and I both own 1967 31' commanders. I bought ours back in 1995 and she was a mess. Duct tape and bailing wire got us back home many a day back then. My 12 year old son and I spent hundreds of hours together slowly fixing all her issues. New motors- wiring- plumbing- shafts- rudders. Repainted topside with interlux perfection 2 part paint. And now finnaly a windlass. So enjoy the journey as there will always be something that needs fixing ,but she has given our family decades of great memories. Be well, Jim
