Doug,

You can write to me at Rudi@medusaengines.com I think is better if I reply from there, since comments on the wall are public. You don't need to repeat your questions, just send me an e-mail and let me know that is you.

Thanks,

Rudi Herbert

Doug.  Your pole is done for your 38"!  The cost is a bit higher than I expected as I had to get the screw eyes welded in.  Flag @ $29.99, SS Eyes @ $5, Welding @ $26, SS Pole @ $35.97 wood ball with 4 coats varnish: free!!. I'm estimating shipping at $20.  Your total would be 117.93.  Please send a chck to me at Pete Stott  1371 S. Nanagosa Trail, Suttons Bay Michigan 49682.  petestott10@gmail.comIMG_4889.jpg

Doug-

Turns out I ordered an extra 36" tube and I could use this to make one up for you.  Technically I think your 38' CC would be "proper" with a 38" pole...do you want me to order a 38" tube or would you be happy with the 36" tube?  Also, do you know if a 16x24" flag is appropriate or will you need a 24x36" flag?   Tell me what you'd like and I'll make it happen.

Are you still interested in getting a flag pole?  I plan to have some made up and I wanted to reconfirm a couple of things:

a) the correct pole dimensions for my 31' Sports Express is 36" long and 7/8" diameter...if you have a larger boat you would likely need a larger pole as the rule of thumb is 1" of pole for every foot of boat.  Please advise quickly

b) I don't know the exact price for the pole but I'll guess that it will be under $100.  Is this acceptable?

c) please verify that you need a pole similar to the one shown in the attached photo

d) call me if you like to discuss 630-842-8504

Hi Doug,  Sorry for the slow reply to your message.  I've been so busy getting the boat back together I don't "socialize" as much as I'd like to.  Thank you....I was pleased that we could match the color after so much oxidation and fading.  We found the original color under the bow badge and Awlgrip Stars and Strip Blue was about identical.  I'll be receiving my rebuilt engines this weekends.  New tanks went in last year .....with any luck I will be floating in a couple weeks.  Are you going to the St. Clair Rendezvous in mid August?  I think we'll be there, probably not with the boat though.  Take care.  Chris Benedict

Hello Doug: Good to be on board.

I'll get more detail to you next week as I am in the midst of getting the Jax'nDiggs shipshape, as I will be on vacation heading south to California (by auto) during the month of April. So I want to get as much completed before I go.

Talk soon
