I'm getting older, so my memory might be unreliable. I vaguely remember seeing Caddy engines with wet manifolds.  That is the good news.  The bad news is that after a quick search of the web I have now been able to find any.  I will continue to search as time permits.

I'm elbow deep in moving my new to me 47 Commander from Guntersville, AL to Lake Hartwell in SC.  It is becoming a real pain in the wallet area.

The spacers were made of steel but I think aluminum would also work.

I think I used spacers because the exhaust manifold was not flat. It was not for insulation. I just used two bolts.

Hi Sterling.

The burglary, following the particularly cold winter, really knocked me back. I haven't posted much because the documentation requirements for the insurance companies are...time consuming.

Anyway,  thanks for becoming a "friend." We all need more of those, I think.

Cheers,

Q
