1968 35' Chris Craft Commander

10973034271?profile=RESIZE_710xI currently have this boat up for auction on Ebay.

Twin freshwater cooled 350 Vortecs w/Velvet drives. Boat hull washed/waxed in summer of 2022. Bottom painted as well.

The hull is solid.  Newer canvas and cushions.  The Mahogany is in great shape.  I bought her with the port motor installed with minimal hours and starboard delivered as parts.  I had the starboard built at a local machine shop and it's dropped in ready for prop shaft alignment.

This boat is in need of minimal work before launching this spring. The port engine has been winterized and has very low hours. The starboard longblock is now in place and needs accessories installed (starter/alternator/misc exhaust parts).  I would pump out and polish the fuel tanks and re-pack the stuffing boxes around prop shafts before launch.

The only issues I have noticed are some soft spots in the wood above the galley windows.  No water leaks into the cabin.  Some rainwater seems to find itself into the bilge and it gets pumped out by float pump.  This is a 50 year old classic, so I am sure there are misc repairs to be made I havent come accross; this is reflected in asking price.  She is an all around solid boat and in the right hands will be back out on the water turning heads in no time!

Boat is in Hampton, Virginia on the hard.  The launch fee has been paid.  Serious inquiries only please.  I am selling her due to limited time and income.  I wish I could hold onto this boat forever.  Current yard price is $300/month.  Buyer to contact marina and notify of sale/provide information and assume responsibilty following title transfer.
