The 2023 National Rendezvous was a Smashing Success!!
An amazing time was had by all at the Chris-Craft Commander Club's National Rendezvous, held this past weekend in Cedar Point, Ohio. A huge Thank You to the Rendezvous hosts: T.J Worsencroft, Sam Lillard, Tim Toth, as well as, Char PIke, Scott Shriber, and Jim & Sue Bell for a wonderful event. Also a HUGE Thank You to all of the Captians and Crews that made the journey to the Rendezvous. A total of 31 boats made the trip to Cedar Point.
These Rendezvous gatherings are a great time to make new friends and to renew old friendships along with seeing some beautiful Commanders along with other Chris-Craft beauties.
Sam and Monica Lillard took some amazing photos and are sharing them via the link below:

Sedan, Express, or Sports model?
I am looking to make a custom down east style hard top for it so I think any style will work as long as they have the same hull shape.

Are you still interested in "Patient Lady"? She got hemmed in at the end of last season and is still looking for a home. She falls into the "complete overhaul" category.
I would definitely be interested! do you own patient lady or know where I can contact someone who does? I plan on getting right down to the stringers, so a complete overhaul is what I'm looking for.

Hello Richard
Patient Lady is a '72 31' sport model that I posted a while ago for a friend. Jim Frens was interested in it and actually came down from N.H. (she's in Boston) and did some tinkering to see if he wanted to take her on. He still has first refusal. If you scroll to Oct 11 classified posted by me you can catch up.
This one was listed not too long ago on Craigslist, it is on the Magothy River near Annapolis MD

Go for it, Richard. I was hoping it could be saved with the 427s intact but maybe that's not possible. I still have an RV in my driveway that has to go before I take on another boat. Text me at 603 321 4931 and I'll send you the owner's phone number. The boat is at Old Colony Yacht Club in Dorchester. At the very least, it needs to be covered to prevent another winter's damage.

Got a '68 CC Commander in the water at the mouth of the Potomac river available. All original, 2 327 F's, neither running. We stay on it while messing about on boats. We are 8 hours away, just call Pete at 724-531-8086. (4-14-18)
