The 2023 National Rendezvous was a Smashing Success!!
An amazing time was had by all at the Chris-Craft Commander Club's National Rendezvous, held this past weekend in Cedar Point, Ohio. A huge Thank You to the Rendezvous hosts: T.J Worsencroft, Sam Lillard, Tim Toth, as well as, Char PIke, Scott Shriber, and Jim & Sue Bell for a wonderful event. Also a HUGE Thank You to all of the Captians and Crews that made the journey to the Rendezvous. A total of 31 boats made the trip to Cedar Point.
These Rendezvous gatherings are a great time to make new friends and to renew old friendships along with seeing some beautiful Commanders along with other Chris-Craft beauties.

I have a trailer with, coincidentally, my 31 sitting on top of it. It's a 37' trailer rated for 22,000 lbs, so the 9,000 lbs of the 31 are nothing for it, but you always want trailers to be overkill, no? It has 3 axles with electro-hydarulic brakes an ALL 3 axles. Bought trailer new for $17,000 ten years ago. Trailer has carried up to a 41' Hatteras, so the load rating is true. Willing to let it go for $5,000 BUT the boat has to go with it, that's right, you get a free 31' with the trailer. Six tires are very new, installed two years ago when I brought the boat up from Miami, so they only have about 300 miles on them, no dry rot. don't know how bearings are but at most they would need some grease, not replacing. Trailer is in Gainesville, northern Florida.
I just purchased a 31 out of Suagatuck MI and did not take the cradle. It is a custom welded steel I-beam trailer with 6 adjustable support pads.
You can try contacting Saugatuck Yacht services to see if they have done anything with it yet.
