Does anyone know if an original blueprint exists that describes the fresh water system on board a '68 47 Commander? The system we have on board has been pieced together over the years, and at the moment resembles a rats nest on the starboard side of the engine room. I would like to upgrade the system over the winter keeping most of the copper tubing that runs throughout the boat. The bulk of the upgrade would be in the engine room, installing a new manifold, water pressure regulator, fresh water pump, etc. as well as getting the water tank back on line, which we've not been able to do up to this point. A drawing of the system would be of great help in taking on this project, so if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Michael Rodolico

I'm considering a complete plumbing refit on my year 1972 47' Commander, installing either PEX A or PEX B with new modern faucets. The copper plumbing lines/tubes usually burst during the winter months without the required time consuming attention given each and every winter layup and I haven't been able to track down a hidden leak, which is frustrating. Prior experience with a new plumbing installation and/or suggestions are appreciated ?
Steve with "International Eagle", a 1969 47, completely replumbed his 47 with PEX. It may have been documented in the forum.
Congrats on your acquisition of Buckaroo. She used to live here in Edenton NC with owner Bill Bass.
