I inherited a 1970 or 1971 Chris Craft XK-19 V-drive, and am trying to decide if I should restore the boat or if I should sell it. I believe it has the original 1971 General Motors LT-1 V8, I have the plate from Chris Craft with engine model 350FLV and number 611092, I also have an intake manifold casting number 3959594. I have come to the conclusion its a 1970 hull with a 1971 engine but I'm not 100% sure about that. I would appreciate it if anyone could get back to me with any advise on where I should have it restored if I decide to go down that road. This boat needs a lot of work... I will be able to add more pictures soon.

If it is a V drive it is likely a '70 with a replaced engine. The trans should be a Paragon with a 327Q . 1970 was a transition year from the '69 Commander to the XK and the outdrive models changed to the 350. The hull card will provide all the information about the options and power. There should be a hull number stamped into the glass either under the left bow at the rail or on the transome under the rail. As to where to have or who to do the restoration I would suggest someone local because this will be a very hands on and major project. That's assuming you want to be involved and want the resto to be correct or want to do some of the work. Having completed one and know others that have, doing it "right" is no small task and involves significant time and money. From the few pics you sent the condition of the hull, interior and hardware are unknown so think of it as a frame off restoration and hope that everything is still there even if in poor condition. If it's a financial decision you'll be upside
down. If it's for the love of the boat you won't regret it. Whenever I look at mine in the water or on the trailer it brings a level of satisfaction, joy and pride that I can't explain and few can understand.
Here are more pictures showing the hull, I also have interior items like the dash, steering wheel, throttle, seats & bench, air vents, I will post photos of those items soon once I pull them out of my storage unit.
Looks like the windshield is MIA. Given what you have shown so far it would be project that would take significant time and resources to make it correct. It can be brought back, and should be, but will take a serious commitment.
What a cool boat you Inherited!! Classic glass sport boats in general are up there with some of the hottest boats to restore right now and Xk19 is one of the sexyist sport boats ever made!
If you choose to restore it , yes it'll need a boat load of work but would be very worth doing.
Here's some photos of one we've done a bunch of resto on.
