I am looking to get into a 38 or 35 commander and have been looking at some that are for sale now. One of the boats I’ve come across has a disjointed line where the cabin bow window and the fiberglass over the starboard cabin glass meet. Is this anything to be concerned about or just reseal when necessary? Thanks all!

I presume this is the new style 38? I would put it pretty far down my list.
Thanks for the response Tim. Is there an issue with the 2nd gen ‘71s in general or should it be down my list of contenders due to this issue?
That does not look normal.
I am planning to sell my 1967 38 Sedan if you’re interested. It’s here in Edenton, NC.

Thanks James! Beautiful example you have there.
That separation is an issue that could begin a depressing voyage of discovery. While more spacious in the living area I am not sure if, that design, is user-friendly on the mechanical end. I think Scott Anderson might have information.
Thanks for the help. That’s definitely unfortunate, but better to know than not know!
