Hello all…new commander owner here. My AC stopped working yesterday. It’s not pulling water in or expelling water out. When I look at the strainer/filter, it seems like it tries to pull water, but not successfully. I assume it’s the pump. Does anyone have comments or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

That is quite a pump. If it is a lift pump it will have a flexible impeller. Probably needs changed. It it is not a lift pump(mounted below water line ) it will have a fixed impeller. Pull the hoses off. Supply should run water. Blow thru the line to the ac. Could be plugged. Is the motor running?
I believe it is above the water line; but not sure. Since I first posted this question, I pulled out the rubber impeller and it seems ok, but it is definitely cupped. I'm waiting on a new impeller kit from Mike's Marine. I did blow out the lines with an air compressor and I'm fairly positive nothing is plugged. The compressor and pump do run....I can see the shaft spinning. Will see when I replace the impeller.
You might blow out both lines, either air or water, should be able to your breath. Any restrictions try using a blower type shop vac. The pump may also have a replaceable cam on the perimeter.
