Just keep in mind that if you are only performing spot repairs, there's a high probability that the new paint will be slightly different color than the existing gel coat that has seen many years of uv light so you may want to also order some pigment as well so you can fine tune the new paint if needed.
It's also a good idea to wet san and buff the area surrounding any repairs before hand as it will help expose a more true original color. You'll then be able to check how it compares with the new paint.
Also keep in mind that the surrounding gelcoat will continue to fade while new paint will remain far more color stable
So a good color match today may become more noticeable over time .
If you're doing a full paint job, none of the above comes into play .
