I'd like to replace, or rebuild, the two mechanical fuel pumps on my 1967 31' Commander Sport Express. This model has the twin 327-F motors . I've not seen any aftermarket mechanical marine fuel pumps that can be cross referenced with the original part number(s). Has anyone been through this where they might recommend a solution? Also, would anyone happen to know the specifications for these old pumps?

I had the same issues when trying to find rebuild kits when I rebuilt my 327’s. To make matters worse I had two different pumps and neither had numbers that I could cross reference. I ended up with a pair of Federal Mogul M60146 pumps. I just did a quick google search and didn’t see any listed, I believe these may have gone obsolete as well. Maybe someone here knows the Sierra equivalent?
I do see Summit has them listed but unavailable so maybe a call to them for an equivalent marine pump?
Safety proceeded with the calendar and the invented pump was replaced with one that vents diaphragm failure to the carb intake. Personal experience, a failed diaphragm filling the bilge with gasoline vapor increases the circulation. The newer pump will bolt up or you can do the Tim Toth modification, it's discussed and described on this site as are most questions although the site move may have made some searches difficult. Access to the files will fill several evenings with interest and education. Amazing what you find when you look!
My boat was a 1968 CCC 35' with 327F's. In 2019 this is what I used. I have a video showing which line I had to replace to make it work. It was a relatively easy swap.
One fuel line needs to be replaced and one lines up.
Steve, you mentioned a video but I just have this one picture. Also, in the photo it appears you put a cap on the outlet stub line that feeds into the carburetor should the diaphragm fail on the pump. Was that just a temporary fix? Thanks for all your help...
Hello William I was not able to load the video. I will send a direct msg. The photo is during the install process not following completion.
