3D Printing Trials

Hi all,

Still working on developing my 3d software skills as a hobby,

If you have a missing part you can not find on the market, scanning an existing part from another boat is going to be easier to duplicate it, but if scanning is not possible and if you have the dimensions and detailed 2D drawings of the part I can assist you with a 3d model.

so I am looking for a volunteer to share full metric dimensions and details of the part you could not find for your boat, ( a simple and linear part such as a window drain covers might be nice for a trial ) :))

I will do the 3d model of the part and you will do the 3d printing out of plastic or metal and see how it goes, and if it goes well this might be the inventory no1 for the 3D library I mentioned before..

Also I have a suggestion. I have seen a vendors section. It might be nice to add 3d scanning and printing services to the vendors list for the members looking 3d printing their own parts.
