Could anyone give me a definitive answer on the Air Draft / Height Clearance of an ‘80’s 410
Tony Green from Tx sent me 175”(14.58’) full fuel and water.
This commander does have the low plexiglas windshield and the stainless rail. If need be they COULD be taken off.
The top of the command bridge is I believe to be the compass on the command bridge.
Dave Thompson in Md also gave a measurement of a little over 16’ and that boat was empty of even the tanks.
I’m looking for comfortably under 15’8 on the western Erie Canal.
Any firm suggestions or measurements would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance.

Our 86 410 is 13ft exactly from the water to the top of the hard top.
I'm sorry but we removed the flybridge so I can't measure that for you.
I can tell you our experience having had 2 different 41 commanders a 79 and now an 86
That water and fuel load will hardly change the air draft at all.
I doubt you will be able to run the western canal because I really don't think you can get a 41 with a bridge at least an mid 80s model down to 15ft 6 inches and I know the 79 had a different bridge that was lower than the 80s boats by maybe 6 inches.
Good luck
