I’m in the process of installing our refurbished Al Johnson mast on to our 67 Commander Express 38. To do this I had to uninstall half of the existing headliner to expose the underside of the pilot house roof. My question is does anyone know what headliner Chris-Craft originally used was it perforated or none-perforated headliner. Currently I have none-perforated up right now.
Thanks.
Most of the Commanders I have seen have perforated.
All 3 of mine have perforated. 67, 69, and 72 model years.
My 69 and 72 have perforated - all I have ever seen. Plus, the perforated may breathe a little.
Thanks to everyone who pesponded to my post. Looks like perforated wins. I know that the current headliner had been replaced at some time. Before I made any changes I was just wanting to make sure I was heading in the right direction before I changed out the headliner.
