Captain Wes ...... Nice engine pics ! I noticed you have the Hei style distributors . What is the timing advance curve set up on that distributor ? Good choice you made to keep the Carter Afb carb . What style carb spacer is on the engine , 4 hole style or open plenum ?

Beautiful! Four years since mine left the dealership, I'm watching the engines lose their shine and gain a mature patina. Wish they could stay beautiful like yours, but they bring me joy when they are singing.
Tim, not sure on the timing or the carb install. Bought the boat about a year ago. Prev owner did the engine work and put in new tankage and dripless packing. Have not had a gas boat in years so need to brush up on that. Starts instantly and runs great and although she’s now in salt water in Florida, they are always left flushed with fresh water. Bought her in Dubuque.
Yeah, just get towed everywhere. Heck, I'd eat breakfast every day in my bilge just staring at those beauties!
