My name is Curt Radford. I was one of the original founders of the CCCC.
I wanted to let the members know of the passing of one of our first members who attended the first CCCC get together in Drummond Island as well as Michigan City and another in Florida. Herb restored a 38' Chris Craft Commander Express MISS JEANETTE and he cruised out of Pine Island, FL. I remember fondly a cruise he and I took on the inland waterways of Florida. Herb was a big supporter of the CCCC. He was a lot of fun. I'm going to miss him a lot. I'm sure some of our older members will remembeer him. If anyone wants to send a note of condolence:

Commander Club members are mourning the passing of longtime member Herb Brock. People like Herb are a reason our passion for Chris-Craft Commanders thrives today. Another chapter of history closes as the boating world has lost a great friend. It saddens all of us at the Chris-Craft Commander Club to learn of his passing.
Together we will remember Herb’s contributions and the legacy to our passion and love of all things Chris Craft. We will cherish the memories. Our lives are richer having known Herb.
He is enjoying some much calmer seas in the great beyond. We wish him well.
Herb, We bid you, "Hail and Farewell!" shipmate, until we drop anchor beside you at the Last Great Rendezvous.
Thanks Char for the memories his posts and picture of Miss Jeanette bring! Curt
