I recently purchased a 1968 Commander 31 from an estate. Had a survey on the hard with good results. No sea trial. I was not there for the survey. Need some help with controls. Where is the blower switch? And how to turn on the refrigeration? Two breakers under the sink for shore power. Do they control different items? They are not marked. Is there a way to make the bezels around the switches more legible? Would appreciate some guidance. Thank you.
I don’t think there is a standard arrangment for alot of wiring stuff except the blower. The blower switch for my 68 31 Commander is on the helm right side below the wiper. On the refrigerator there shpuld be a breaker for the ac and a breaker for the DC. Just double check that the wiring is all marine grade, not home depot Romex and that your struts and thru hulls are all bonded.
