What turns the blower on? If it just turns on with the ignition or battery switch it is wired direct. Do you have a working sniffer?? My blower is wired to a switch at the helm. I also have a combo sniffer, high water, fire alarm unit.
Thanks for your reply John. The first blower turns on when the ignition switch is turned, or gen set set to start. I did not know this because I always turn a separate blower switch before start and never heard it. I do have a sniffer .
Issue resolved. It was the interface with the fume detector and blowers. Thanks for the views. Now I can market the boat so that I may return to a classic Chris Craft. Once sold I’ll be looking at the classifieds. Happy 4th to all!
