1965 Chris Craft Corsair Sea-V (XL200) 20’ Inboard with Velvet Drive

1965 Chris Craft Corsair Sea-V (XL200) 20’ Inboard with Velvet Drive.  Purchased as a restoration project but am moving and cannot take her with me.  One of the first years of the fiberglass Chris Craft / Thompson boats which has been well documented by many enthusiastic owners on the Chris Craft Commander Forum in which I participated for some time.  The classic Lapstreak hull Number ORA-20-0040 is very unique and attractive. Boat has been stripped to bare hull for rebuild. Most interior parts saved for templates and many NOS parts and accessories have been purchased which will convey with sale.  Original running 283 engine and velvet drive included along with new risers and manifolds (all painted the official Chris Craft Blue), alternator, reconditioned prop and other parts.  Original build sheet documentation from the Chris Craft Archives / Mariner’s Museum in Newport News, VA included as well as other extensive research materials, photographs, original brochures, etc also in hand.  Dual axle galvanized trailer with new winch, LED tail lights and new rollers included.  Rare and excellent project with the not so fun part of deconstruction already complete - let the rebuild begin!  Had planned to painstakingly rebuild to take to Chris Craft shows so I hope someone with the same passion is out there to make it happen.  Lots of time and $$ invested -  Accepting reasonable offers!
