I'm in (desperate) need of a bow rail stanchion base for my newly acquired 47 Commander.  The original was lost by the mover during my recent over the road move from AL to SC.  The one I need is the one at the aft end of the bow rail.  It is the ports side and is angled at 45 degrees forward with 4 mounting holes.

I'll try to attach a picture of the stbd side.

Hopefully someone parting out a 47or similar boat will have one with which they might be willing to part.

I belive there are a couple of them in this ebay listing .

Perhaps the seller would only sell you the ones your after

Contact Earls.....you never know hat he might have. Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up on the eBay listing.  I saw that listing, but didn't look close enough.  Your comment made me look closer and it appears that there are 2 bases that are what I need.  I contacted the seller to see if he would sell just one part, but haven't gotten a response yet.  If I have to spend $350 plus shipping, I will have a lot of hardware to list here on the CCCC.  :)

so I am looking, found these. Phil

Thanks Phil, I don't think those are the ones I need.  What I need is the one that has the extension that goes down into the toe rail and extends up at a 45 degree angle.  Hope you have or can find the one I need.  Thanks again for the help..

There are a bunch of Chris Craft stanchion bases on Ebay.

Search EBay for "Chris Craft Volcano"  See link below.  You might check your other one for a part number.  There appear to be several options over the years.

You can also set up a standing search on Ebay for the same terms.  Ebay will then email you when an item matching those terms is listed.

Thanks Darin,  There is a seller that has the exact part that I need, however, he has it in a lot of 40 parts and refuses to sell anything separate. I refuse to pay $350.00 plus another $70.00 shipping for the one part I need.  I offered $100.00 plus shipping and he refused.  The guy is very short sited because he could possibly get 2-3 times what he is asking for the lot.  I'm tempted to buy the lot and sell it off in smaller lots, but am afraid I could end up getting stuck with a bunch of stuff that I can't use.

Anyone watching this lot of stuff on eBay and need just a few items, let me know and I'll reconsider buying the lot.  Please let me know!!!  I'm willing, but need to know if I can at least recoup my investment.
