47 Commander Vintage Lady-the One pictured in the CCCC Header

So I found this somewhere for I think about 185 asking.

Has anyone been on this boat and seen her in person? Lately? I followed this boat for a while as it was listed on Yacht World for a few years. I think it started somewhere in the 400s or high 300s, and I am sure it took every bit of that to make her what she is today. The boat is a little spartan, sort of Huckins style or NE, but nicely done. I wonder if the front window have been glassed in; the fact that it lets light in is something I like about this feature on the 47, but for real ocean travel I can see why you might do this.

So, it appears she has been well used, well loved, and is moved from the East Coast to San Francisco. San Francisco....one of the most beautiful bays in the world. With access to the West Coast down to Monterey and San Diego, and all points in between.

Here's the dream. Head out once a quarter, explore the area. San Francisco, Sausalito, to Napa Valley. Do this for a few years, then head South. Spend a year in Monterey and then San Diego. Plans might change, as other areas need to be experienced, but that's the basic outline. Once done ship her back to Hilton Head or Charleston.

I wonder if you could and I'll say should, put it in some Air B&B management rental program. This could offset expenses, but also could be very problematic, as not all renters are good people, as we are. I think we have all read horror stories about his. I would think you would need to budget at least 15k per year just for Marina cost. Haul out and maintenance, maybe another 15K, so about 30k per year. Does the sound about right? Of course there is insurance and taxes. We all read about CA taxes. Anyone care to guess what CA taxes are on a boat valued at about 185?

So, has anyone seen her lately? Comments? Thanks.

So I just did a little search on this site and found this-so it now appears to be in San Francisco area (now that's a move):

Where is the boat located?  What are you asking for her?

Miami fl

Price $180000

I saw her in the Bahamas back in May.  Looked real nice then. I did not see the inside. Agree it's not up to par with the boat's exterior.

What model yanmars are those, and what kind of speeds does she turn ?
