Looked at an 83 410 tonight .
He is asking 15K .
Original 454's one runs on has heads off but internals look good and is not locked up .
Looks all original interior .No soft spots or water damage that I can see .

Any thoughts ?

Any thoughts ?

The best deal on any boat is the one you can reliably drive away from the slip.  How much is it going to cost to make that happen with this boat? JMO  Tim

I knew I could count on someone to talk me down .
Thanx

I say it's a good price IF you can  put the engine in running condition yourself. If your at all mechanical it's easy to do if you have to pay a pro that's a more costly endeavor. The boat should be worth 10 as it sits and 25 or so with both engines running. At least the port engine is standard rotation so you won't be confused by having to deal with opposite rotation

Chris ,

Do you have first hand knowledge of this boat ? Or are you speaking hypothetically?

I don't know anything about the boat you are looking at however we purchased our 41 with a similar engine problem from a seller that was not a boater and just wanted it gone.

We live just south of Jax and would be glad to come take a look at the 410 for you from a 41 owners perspective if that helps

Chris ,

Thanx for the generous offer .Think we are gonna pass on this one .Just don't have a good feeling about it .
