Classic 1975 Ray Hunt designed 30' Tournament Sportfisherman for sale or partnership agreement

Classic and rare Ray Hunt designed Deep-V hull design, less than 300 built. Considered one of the safest boats on the water. Twin 350 engines; port side engine replaced two years ago with under 20 hours, and currently installing new 350 on starboard side. Originally a fresh water boat from Michigan. Some upgraded electronics (thru-hull fishfinder, Garmin GPS, VHF, livewell tank, etc.). Upper deck is fully canvass-enclosed but could use new eisenglass. Once the new engine is installed, I plan to finish restoring the teak, repainting deck, upgrading electrical switches, etc. Boat was pulled for hull painting 2 years ago with high-end paint and is cleaned monthly. Slip fee is $570/month (steps from great DP Marina shops and restaurants), and is non-transferrable, but I'd consider partnering with a Chris Craft lover for the monthly rent, maintenance and anticipated cosmetic upgrades.
Here are just some of the features of this classic boat:
• Stereo CD player
• Forward hatch with screen
• Cabin ceiling rod storage
• Garmin GPS Chartplotter
• 3 Antennas
• 2 VHF radios plus hand-held radio
• Bilge blower
• 4 Stereo speakers on bridge & cockpit with separate switches
• 2 pedestal chairs at helm
• 5 new deep cycle batteries in 2 separate banks plus 5th dedicated battery for 110V inverter
• 2 battery switches
• two bank battery charger
• Parallel switch
• 30 amp shore power cord
• multiple rod rocket launchers
• 110 V inverter
• 12V/110V Norcold refrigerator
• full electric head
• 90 gallon fuel tank
• 40 gallon fresh water tank
• extra exterior LED navigation and cockpit lights
• underwater multi-color lights (need work)
• large bait tank with thru-hull water pump supply
• extra bimini canvas top for full enclosure
• sleeps 2 in V-birth and 2 more in cabin
• original detailed Chris Craft electrical & mechanical manual
• 3 separate and redundant bilge pumps
• A/C unit and water heater (need evaluating and possible repairs)
• new starboard 350 engine installed 2 years ago with Holly carb - under 10 hours
• new portside 350 engine currently being installed with new matching Holly carb & all new oil and transmission lines

WANTED: National Chris-Craft Commander Club Rendezvous Hosts!!

A National Rendezvous is a gathering of club members and their beloved Commanders. It is a great place to see some beautiful boats, make new friends and catch-up with old friends. It is always interesting to see what is different on the same model boat and a great place to get ideas, tips & tricks.

If you would like to host a rendezvous, the Executive Committee will assist you with ideas, registration, and anything else you might need.

If your marina, or a marina near you, could house additional boats for a weekend and if you have several Commanders in your area, we encourage you to consider hosting a rendezvous.

Please contact Char Pike, at rendezvous.commanderclub@gmail.com, with your questions.
