I have a 1976 42 CC Tournament Fish and have a breaker I need help with. There are shore power connections on the right and left sides, inlet 1 & 2 on each side. The breaker above inlet 2 on the starboard side is out. Best I can tell its a Heinemann, but I am not 100%. the markings on it read:
Pole. P1 P2 P3,
AMP. 40 (Have 50 amp service)
VOLTS. 240AC 40AC-115AC,
HZ. 50/60 50/60 50/60
T.D. 2 2 P
it a 3 pole, they're all three connected, one of the wires/poles is used to flip the breaker off on the opposite side. So when you plug into the shore power on the port side, it automatically flips the breaker on the starboard side off.
I've contacted Wards, Sam's and have searched on line with no luck. Help!
1 check with marine suppliers not general merchandise
2 search drum switch, marine
I'm in the same situation. Were you able to find a replacement?
Are you sure you have the part number right? You can usually find this stuff somewhere. I once found a 50 year old volt meter NOS still in the box from the 60s. Sat in somebody's garage for 50 years.
Does this catalog help? It has a lot of AM3 breakers with further breakdown by part number - https://www.newark.com/pdfs/techarticles/eatonHEIN/HydraulicMagneti...
Got a pic of the breaker or the label/part number?
