I am moving to Jacksonville, FL and my current boat insurance will not insure my 45 Commander in FL.  Does anyone know of a good boat insurance company that I can contact?

Tom ,

I am in Jacksonville and have always used Boat U.S without a problem .

They go through Geico and just require an in the water survey for value

they’re great.

I looked for insurance for my boat in Pensacola a few months ago.  I found almost everyone I called went through Geico.

Tom ,

By the way . Where in Jax are you going to be ?

Tony

I'd also like to know, I'm in Jacksonville and always happy to make a new friend!

I just saw this, I'd recommend getting a quote from this company:

Matt Woods: Producer

E: mwoods@risk-strategies.com

A: 1300 SE 17th Street, Suite 220, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

P: 954.525.0582 | C: 954-632-5807 | F: 754-301-5541

I was going to buy a boat the other year before I got cancer and my wife got sick and they quoted me the best price for insurance in Florida.

Thanks for your help on this issue.  I am in Arlington area near hidden hill golf course.  The boat is at beach marine off beach Blvd and just arrived right before thanksgiving.

BoatUS gave me a quote thru Geico that was $2300 and its the best I’ve received so far.
