Both of my fuel pumps failed at the end of the season last year. There has been a lot of discussion on here regarding these discontinued pumps and I don't care to rebuild them because they do not have the additional fitting for an extra return line to the carb to meet safety requirements. I am not really looking to go to electric pumps either.
Does anyone have new spares that you no longer need and would like to sell?
I did find Holley makes something very similar but I don't know if it is exact. I have steel fuel lines so not much flexibility.
UPDATE 6/3/19. Pumps installed. From Summit Racing, marine fuel pump M61073, Carter $46.00 each, allows you to clock one of the fuel fittings (upper to carb) into the exact position the original was located. I had to bend a new supply side fuel line to align with the other fitting. I will also be adding a new line from the flame arrestor to the port on the fuel pump which sprays out fuel upon pump failure.
Photos attached, I hope. Thanks for the input.
Any input on this is appreciated. What have others done with the "failure line"?
I purchased fittings made for air brakes so that I have fitting the line will slide on to AND a hub with threads, so that I can secure it to the flame arrester. I will take a photo of the parts when at the boat. I have not installed them yet.
