I removed the head liner in the salon of my 45' Commander. There are two of these. Does anyone know what it is and what it was used for?

Billy, I am going with a speaker. The cone is gone but the magnet in the center gave it away.

That's what I thought, but I've never seen one like that. By the way, the white is a dense styrofoam, Thanks

I replaced my headliner in 2005 and found a tv antenna up there .

Pretty sure it's a speaker.  They made flat speakers with styrofoam for a while, too.

2 wires, probably a speaker. One wire, could be an antenna. But that does not look like an antenna wire.

Where does the wire go?

The wires, I think go back to the helm area and are cut. I'm with the speakers idea. Either way the are not being used. Thanks for the help.

Those are early generation water proof speakers.

I took it down and this was the back. Speakers it is.

Thanks again

It looks like it is all there.  Hook it up and try it out!

I think they were speakers for the hailed because our 41 had them also and they were connected to our hailer
