Is anyone else experiencing problems boating due to the record high water?  We have a boathouse that was continually flooded until August last season.  They are predicting even higher levels this season.  In my 52 years I have seen the levels rise and fall over time, but this has been higher and longer than anything previous.

You just past me, you should have stopped!  I checked the boathouse at lunch and the water is over the catwalks.  I have never seen it this high in January and February!

Lake Ontario being the last down stream lake gets the brunt of water. Based on my observations and information posted on Detroit Sector of The Army Corps of Engineers website , 2020 may be our worst year. We couldn't launch our boat until the last week of July in 2017 and 2019.

Pictures of our boat house and surrounding grounds from early July 2019. Already making other vacation plans that do not involve cruising this summer.

Beautiful 31 Thomas.  I feel your pain!   Is that powder blue sailboat a C&C 38 across from you?

Yes I believe the blue sailboat is an old 38 C&C. There's a C&C 29 on the hard next to our boat house slip that owner never had launched last year. If we aren't able to launch before mid July we'll likely keep the boat out for the 2020 season.

How do you get those steel I-Beams under the boat?  Aren't they heavy?  I have 10x10 wood beams
