In another discussion Eppa Hunton mentioned he is looking for a refrigerator condenser for his 1968 31' Commander.

Eppa, have you tried an internet search?  If you have the model number of the fridge or part number it might even be easier.

Here are a few to try:

http://www.partselect.com

 http://www.easyapplianceparts.com/

 http://www.appliancepartspros.com/refrigerator-motor.html

 http://www.davesrepair.com/vintageparts.htm

Most of our boats had GE refrigerators.  GE still makes an undercounter unit (110v)  that fits the space.  Not as 'roomy' inside but it does work.  The superdisc has all the info.

A member might have one laying around.

Eppa; Please advise as to What Brand name Refrigerator, Model Number, 120 volt or just 12 volt, etc. Then I can look for something for you. I think the refrigerator on my 1969 31ft is a Norcold; is yours the same?? Regards, Willie Leipert.

I have my condenser unit from my 72, 31.  PO changed the fridge to a 120 volt before I purchased the boat.

I don't know if it works or why the fridge was changed out.  Copper tubing was cut off at the fridge itself.  I am in Arkansas.

Do you want it, free.

Dwayne

Thanks Dwayne, Free is great.  The question will be whether I can fix longer  lines to connect to the compressor.  Before we get the thing in the mail, let me check.

thanks again for the offer.

Eppa Hunton.
